Shri Angalamman College of Engineering & Technology was founded by A.D.S Educational Trust, A-5,Salai Road,Trichi-620018. with the approval of the Government of TamilNadu vide G.O. Ms.No. 388(Education)JI dated 1.4.91, and approved by the All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi. The Trust which is dedicated to the cause of promoting Technical Education to the students of TamilNadu has purchased a vast area od 150 acres of land on the National Highway (NH-45) Trichy - Chennai Truck Road,23 kms away from Trichirappalli Junction. The campus is named as Raman Nagar. This college campus is developing rapidly,under the able administration of the Director and with the help of able faculty of the Institution. This college has excellent faculty,Technical Assistants, with well equipped laboratories, Library etc. This college is functioning from 1991.

This college is affiliated with the Anna University,chennai. This college is functioning from 1-7-1991 in a very beautiful atmosphere on the National Highway-45 with all the infrastructural facilities such as two storeyed Main Building, big & spacious Workshop,Laboratories,full compliments of Library, Hostel and a canteen for food & refreshments. Well Experienced Teaching Non-Teaching staff are on the job under the direction of Director Major.K.SRINIVASAN and the college is growing fastly under his supervision
