School of Engineering and Technology was established by Bharathidasan University in 1999 with a view of imparting quality technical education by striving hard for continuous development and improvement in learning and research activities so as to produce proven technocrats. The School has carved a niche for itself in providing technical education in the disciplines that are rare of their kind in our country. Aiming at excellence, the school produces competent engineers with the knowledge of science and technology in engineering to encounter challenges of tomorrow.

The School is situated in a sprawling area of 500 acres of land of the University South Campus, 16 Kms away from Tiruchirapalli Junction on the Tiruchirapalli-Pudukottai National Highway.

The school has excellent infrastructure facilities in terms of spacious classrooms, well equipped laborities with modern equipment, workshop, seminar halls, computer centre, library.
