Saranathan College of Engineering was established in 1998. It was born out of a thirsting desire of our Secretary Shri.K.Santhanam to venture in the field of Technical Education. The college was named after a great educationist Shri.Saranathan, who had the privilege of being the Principal of National College, Trichy for 26 years.

The College is the outcome almost entirely of the tireless efforts of Shri.K.Santhanam, Secretary. The College is located 9 km off Trichy City on the Highway connecting Trichy and Madurai. The peaceful ambience facilitates comfortable teaching and learning.

The College is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and all the academic programs offered here have the approval of the All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi as well as the Government of Tamilnadu.

Our college strives hard to equip the students with sound technical knowledge and skills and to offer educational programs of innovative nature for creating a host of talented and committed professionals.

A dedicated team of teachers assists the department heads to carry out effectively the academic programmers.
