Affiliated to Bharathidhasan University,
Trichy, the campus is located on a sprawling 200 acres of land, with
a tranquil and serene atmosphere on the Trichy - Pudukkottai highway,
27 Kilometers away from Trichy, the geographical centre of Tamil Nadu.
The central office at Ramalinga Nagar, Woriyur is hardly a 10 minute
drive from the Trichy Junction and it is well connected by rail and road
to all important towns.
Mookambigai College of Engineering was established
in 1985. It made a humble beginning , having been started by "Mariamman
Educational Health and Charitable Trust". It has grown into a vast
educational complex, fully equipped with all the infrastructural facilities
in
the shape of buildings, laboratories, workshops, library, hostels,
sports and games fields .
Brick and Mortar do not make the institution
, we have an excellent faculty comprising of experienced professors,
only supported by sincere
and dedicated young teachers.
Our progress is very steady and with tireless

Heavy Electricals Limited, Ordinance Factory, Heavy Alloy Penetrant Plant,
Dalmia Cements, and a large number
of large scale and medium scale industries offer facilities for effective
interaction between the college and industries. This is supplemented
by support from Welding Research Institute, School of Energy, Computer
Society of India and the Bharathidhasan Institute of Management. |
