This college is sponsored by “Neo Foundation for Societal Transformation”. This is an organization started by a few generous and patriotic persons impelled by an urge to serve the society at large and especially the rural people who constituted the majority in our country.

Our college which started with just 34 students and 8 staff members in January 1994, now sends out hundreds of graduates & Post-graduates every year through 7 departments. At present, out college comprises 67 lecturers and 30 non-teaching staff members. We have 6 Ph.D. holders and 15 M.Phil., holders and some of them have passed SLET. UGC & GATT. It is worth to mention that our principal Thiru.A. VENUGOPALAN during this tenure produced 7 Ph.D., scholars.

The college staff council consists of all heads of departments physical director, Librarian, Deputy warden of both Men’s and Women’s hostels, college Administrative officer and manager.

Our college offers UG courses in various disipline such as Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Industrial Electronics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Business Administration, Commerce & Bank Management. We also offer PG courses in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Computer Applications and Information Technology.
