Nityasundaresvaraswami (ThiruNedungalanathaswami) temple is at a
village 5 kms north of Thiruverumbur via Thuvakudi .This temple of
great antiquity, is included in the kshertavenba of the tamil saint,
the Ayyadigal kadavarkon, who should be ascribed to the days before
appar and sambandar. Varahi, is worshipped specially by the devotees
