The Trichy railway division has developed a mobile application ‘Trichy Rail’, an integrated app which provides handy information about various passenger requirements including inquiry, PNR status emergency medical assistance and live train status and rescheduled trains across the division. Details on retiring room booking, complaints, battery operated car, emergency medical assistance like ambulance and availability of hospital near the stations have also been provided. With the help of this app, passengers can get details of tourism related information over the Trichy division on the single platform. This app was developed by VarNik Systems Services Pvt Ltd. the app is available on Google Play Store for free download. Passengers can download, install and open app by registering their details. It is integrated with railway helpline numbers (139,138,1512 etc.,) and also with the NTES (National Train Enquiry Systems) server to provide accurate train time and data for passengers. Users can also lodge their complaints regarding deficiencies in passenger amenities, cleanliness of stations etc. Across the division and suggestions for improvements.
